Mother Breastfeeding Baby

You don't have to hold it all together alone.

Specialized, compassionate therapy for pregnancy, postpartum, and the enormous transition into motherhood — available by telehealth across Connecticut and Vermont.

When motherhood doesn’t feel the way you expected

The pressure to be glowing, grateful, and endlessly capable can make it almost impossible to admit when you’re struggling. Maybe the anxiety won’t switch off. Maybe intrusive thoughts are scaring you. Maybe you feel numb, irritable, or like you’ve lost yourself somewhere along the way. None of that makes you a bad mother — it makes you a human being carrying an extraordinary amount.

I’m a PMH-C certified therapist, which means I’m specifically trained in perinatal mental health. I’m also a mama myself, and I’ve walked through this. You deserve a space where you can say the hard, honest things out loud and be met with understanding instead of judgment.

How I can help
I work with women and birthing parents through the full perinatal arc, including:
  • Postpartum depression and anxiety

  • Pregnancy-related anxiety and mood changes

  • Scary or intrusive thoughts (including perinatal OCD)

  • Birth trauma and difficult delivery experiences

  • The identity shift of becoming a mother (matrescence)

  • Rage, irritability, and feeling “not like myself”

  • Adjusting to life with a new baby

What working together looks like

Sessions are warm, collaborative, and tailored to you — there’s no one-size-fits-all approach here. We’ll go at your pace, and you will never be pushed to talk about anything before you’re ready. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling a little more like yourself.

You are worth taking care of, too.
