Confident Professional Woman

Therapy for the whole of who you are.

Compassionate, specialized mental health care for women — from anxiety and depression to the hormonal shifts that shape how you feel — by telehealth in Connecticut and Vermont.

You carry so much. You deserve a place to set it down.

So many women spend their lives tending to everyone else — partners, children, aging parents, careers — while quietly running on empty. You might be holding anxiety that never fully switches off, a low mood you can’t quite explain, or a harsh inner voice that never thinks you’re doing enough. Maybe you’ve felt this way so long it just feels like you.

It doesn’t have to. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to sort it out alone — and you don’t have to wait until things feel “bad enough” to deserve support.

General mental health support

I provide warm, evidence-based therapy for the concerns that touch so many women’s lives, including:

  • Anxiety, worry, and overwhelm

  • Depression and persistent low mood

  • Mood disorders

  • Low self-esteem and self-worth

  • Perfectionism and the pressure to do it all

  • Stress, burnout, and people-pleasing

  • Life transitions and finding yourself again

When hormones shape your mental health

Your mental health and your hormones are deeply connected — yet women are so often told their very real symptoms are “just stress” or “in their head.” They’re not. The hormonal shifts across your reproductive life can have a powerful effect on mood, and they deserve real attention and care.

I support women navigating:
  • PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) — the intense mood, irritability, and despair that can arrive each cycle

  • PMS and cycle-related mood changes

  • Perimenopause and menopause — anxiety, mood swings, irritability, brain fog, and the identity shifts of this transition

  • Hormonal mood changes tied to postpartum, weaning, or other reproductive milestones

Understanding the connection between your cycle and your mood can be genuinely freeing — and we can build strategies that actually fit what your body and mind are going through.

What working together looks like

My approach is integrative, meaning I tailor our work to you rather than forcing you into one method. Sessions are a safe, judgment-free space where you can be honest about how you’re really doing. We’ll move at your pace, and my hope is that you leave each session feeling a little more like yourself.

You are allowed to take up space and ask for support.
